My friend Evan had this great idea to make a series of greeting cards for unpleasant situations. Cards were meant for women who had faced difficult times in their lives. I made the illustration for one of those.

It is always easy to congratulate people on their birthday or wedding day. But everyone knows how hard it is to find words when someone is struggling. It's not easy to know what to say when someone loses a loved one, has trouble with health, gets abused - or whatever shitty surprises this world has to offer.

Anyways, you can buy cards here. 20% of the profit goes to charity.

Tänään minua ilahduttivat
jonkun tuntemattoman tyypin post-it pop up taidenäyttely piritorin metriksellä
ja Tarjoustalon Cocain-sukat

Wednesday: I wasted too much time in nonsense, drank a really good soy latte (I'm going to stop drinking milk with my coffee but I'm not gonna give up cheese), participated in a protest for freelancer rights, enjoyed post-it art at the metro station, saw cocain socks in a local supermarket.

Jee! Tänään me mennään katsomaan David Shrigleyn näyttely Turkuun!

David Shrigley is one of my favourite artists. He has an exhibtion in Turku, which is a town in Finland. The people not living in Turku refer to it as "the ass of Finland".

The trip with The Seekrets to Germany was fun!

When I looked at the photos I had taken from the trip, I was surprised by the amount of walls in them. The memory card was filled with pictures of German walls (though not the most famous one, Berlin Wall). Sure there would have been loads of more interesting things to photograph, but I guess walls are easy targets. They're large and tend to keep still.
The wall behind the stage in the place where we played in Leipzig. It was in a punk rock trailer park with friendly dogs running around, and open fire in the yard when it got dark.
The wall in the room where we slept in Chemnitz. It was covered with posters of the bands that had been playing in Subway to Peter.
The radio wall in the kitchen in Leipzig.
The wall with the framed pants of Joey Ramone in the Ramones Museum in Berlin.

Other neat places where we went in Berlin:
- Bei Roy, where we got really good vegan pizza and played with the Bad Ceasars and Pipistrelli
- Tiki Heart Cafe, with a shop downstairs where I got myself a cute Hawaii sun dress. Which I won't be able to use for months, since it's rainy, cold autumn here in Finland, followed by snowy, cold winter and slighty less snowy, cold spring.
- Wowsville record store and bar.
- Bassy club that had a great DJ playing 60's garage, but with my toe broken I did not feel like dancing.

Juoma on valmis! Maistuu hyvältä ja tuntuu tervehdyttävältä. Lisäksi keittiöön tulee tenhoava tuoksu.

Here's a recipe for a hot, spicy drink that might help you with your flu! It tastes good, so if it's not working as a cure for the flu, it's still worth trying.

Put some water in a kettle and wait till it boils. Add peeled and sliced fresh ginger, cinnamon sticks, cardamom seeds, sichuan pepper, and clove/star aniseed. You might want to put the smaller spices in a teaspoon in order to keep the liquid less messy. Take the kettle off the stove and add some honey and squeezed lemon. Drink and get well!
