Doomsday!
Oooo jännää! Huomenna meen Nightsatan And The Loops Of Doom-leffan ensi-iltaan. Leffan on ohjannut yks mun parhaimmista (ja oudoimmista, hah) kavereista, Chrzu! Stillikuvat ainakin näyttää ihan superhienoilta.

Sain mun ystävältä Chrzulta lahjaksi maailman hienoimman kassin! Siinä lukee Danzig I-IV koska ne on ne parhaat levyt. Kaljanjuontihommissakin parhaat luvut, I-IV. Mä tykkään joo ykkösestä ja kakkosesta, vaikka yleensä kansa ei piittaa niistä. Harmittaa, kun suomesta ei saa kakkoskaljaa. Jos sekoittaa ykköstä ja kolmosta, tulee kakkoskaljaa, mut sit sitä on kauheet määrät ja idea vähäisemmästä alkoholimäärästä menee sit ikäänkuin hukkaan. Neloskaljaa tulee juotua harvemmin, mutta sillekin on hetkensä!

Spider web grew on the black iron gate. The curtains on the window were all fucked up like a demon had just ripped them. Dirty black sun shined as I walked away.

Yesterday we went to see Black Lips. They were really good! I didn't care that much about the last album, but the latest one, Arabia Mountain is neat & nifty.
Last time the Black Lips were playing in Helsinki, a boy I know was playing with another band at the same venue. After the soundcheck he was happy to meet the Black Lips, whose music he really liked, at the backstage. Everyone was polite and well behaved, so they introduced themselves and shook hands. The fourth Black Lips dude, however shook hands with the-boy-I-know, and said "Jerk!" My friend was saddened by this unexpected insult, and could not figure out what to say. He stared in disbelief the fourth-Black-Lips-dude who just smiled.
The offended boy-I-know rushed out from room, and wondered what made the fourth Black-Lips-dude dislike him so much that he wanted to call him jerk. After explaining this weird situation to a friend, he found out that he had just misheard the name of the fourth Black-Lips-dude Jared.

Oltiin The Itty-Bitty Tease Cabaret'n kanssa esiintymässä Las Vegasissa Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekendissä. Sitten jäin eläkkeelle bittyilystä. Mutta ei hätää, ryhmä säilyy ennallaan sillä Kitty Litter ja Brion Bonaventura ovat liittyneet tuohon ihastuttavaan joukkioon!
I had a fun trip to Las Vegas with The Itty-Bitty Tease Cabaret girls. But the best part of Vegas was maybe the Elvis wedding of Ulrika & Eddi! Elvis, dressed in a black jumpsuit, walked the bride to the altar. After the ceremony was over Elvis talked about death metal and played some Metallica song with his guitar.
After Vegas I retired from my show girl career and headed for a holiday road trip to Texas and Louisiana. I'll write about that later!

Meillä oli viikonloppuna The Splitsien kanssa äänitykset.
Etukäteen vähän hermoilin että se on semmosta että ängetään joukolla jonnekin koppiin äheltämään ja stressaamaan ja lopuksi on luvassa pettymys. Mutta ehei! Optimisti pettyy ja pessimisti ilahtuu, ja mää olen nyt kerrassaan riemastunut: oli ihan sairaan hauska viikonloppu ja saatiin kymmenen biisiä nauhotettua ja kuulosti ihan tosi hyvälle! Suurkiitokset tuottajanero Pavelle ja äänittäjäihme Jyrkille.

puhelu Herttoniemeen
Tänään soitin ystävälle Herttoniemeen. Kerroin yhdestä typerähköstä asiasta, josta oon haaveksinut useita vuosia. Ystävä nauroi (semmoista kannustavaa naurua) ja lupasi osallistua asioiden edistämiseen. Huippua, kun on herttoniemeläis-ystävä!
