Splits Summer Trip to Italy

Last summer we went to Italy to play two gigs with The Splits. First gig was at Bikini Kill Festival, and the second one was a outdoor gig somewhere in the countryside, on an outdoor venue by the vineyard. Here's some pics from the trip:

At the moment, The Splits are touring UK but I am here in freezing cold Finland! I'm really sad I couldn't go with my band, but they have a cool replacement drummer (Pave from Death Laser) and I have super good reason for not going - I'll tell you more about that soon. Meidän bändi The Splits oli lämppäämässä eilen Hunx and His Punxia Kuudennella linjalla. Oli ihan superhauska ilta, ja Hunx oli ihana! Mulla ei kyllä meinannu pysyä soittokepit käsissä, en tiedä johtuko siitä että jännitti soittaa kun Hunx oli katsomassa, vai oliko vaan maan vetovoima tavallista kovemmalla. Joinan päivinä niin on. Se huomaa esim. siitä, että aamulla ei meinaa päästä sängystä ylös, ja siitä että tavarat tippuu käsistä.

Last night was fun. Our band The Splits was playing with Hunx and His Punx, they were awesome! I've seen Hunx twice before, once in Portland and once at Gonerfest in Memphis. He is always awesome, but I think this was the best! It was awesome to meet Shannon Shaw from Shannon & the Clams too, she was playing with Hunx on this tour.
